DIY Video

  • The Acura Integra & Honda Civic Rear Suspension Rebuild series was actually shot sometime in 2004-05. This is the very first EricTheCarGuy video to exist. You may also recognize the car because I ended up buying it years later and it's appeared in a few other ETCG videos. I believe this video laid the foundation for what I was eventually going to become.

  • Here is Part 2 of the Integra/Civic Rear Suspension Rebuild. This video covers the replacement of the front and rear coil springs. It also has some helpful tips on prepping for an alignment. If you do rear trailing arm bushings on these vehicles it is highly recommended that you get an alignment when you're done. If not, you could get some nasty tire wear.

  • Battery Care and Maintenance tips was actually suggested by my good friend and forum moderator at EricTheCarGuy.com, College man aka Paul Krawsek. I thought it was a great idea for a video so I ran with it.

  • The BendPak XPR-10A-LP has been the single most life changing piece of equipment in my shop to date. Having a lift is a game changer in every way when it comes to auto repair. Just the time savings alone is huge. Not to mention the wear and tear on your body.

In this show we talked about oil consumption, hard starting, misfires, compression testing, leak down testing, instrument cluster issues, idle issues, cooling system issues, bleeding the cooling system, damage after a collision, storing an engine, performance problems, steering noises, engine noises, horn problems, and adjusting parking brakes.

  • In this video I walk you though the steps I took to overcome these challenges. Hopefully it will help you if you are also wanting to install a DVD player of this type.

  • I've started the modifications on the 1979 Ford Fairmont. Remember kids, many of the things I do to this car also apply to Mustangs from 1979-1992. So if you're looking for a walkthrough on installing frame connectors, this will work for you too.

Today when I was putting batteries in my Elvis clock, I broke his head off. This is not the first time this has happened. He once fell off the wall and broke into several pieces that I needed to glue back together. Since my friends at J&B Tools sent me some Q-Bond to try, I thought I would try it out for this repair.
