1990 4Runner 22re no crank no start

My engine has a no crank no start situation. I replaced the battery to see if that would fix it, it didn't (it needed a new one anyway).

However a push start isn't working to start the car anymore (it did the first 2 times). I think there might be something wrong in the engine. How should I go about testing if the engine will rotate.

You can try turning the engine with a breaker bar on the crank bolt.
When you try starting, does the starter make any noises? Even clicks? If not, is there 12V at the starter solenoid?

It makes a "click" when I turn. The click may be coming from the relay, I am not too sure about that. I am going to try to get the relay out today to get it tested. I have not yet gotten to checking out the solenoid or the starter motor yet.

Get the starter tested.
