upper timing belt cover question

96 accord 4cyl vtec m/trans

thanks to all the awesome people on this forum who have replied to my posts! i don’t mean to ask a zillion questions, but i have a 400 mi trip to take and am worried about my timing belt. i want to do a visual inspection of the belt before i go so i don’t destroy my engine if the belt is going.

i know i have to take the valve cover off even to get the upper t/b cover off. but will i have to undo the motor mount just to get this top cover off? it looks like 2 screws holding the upper t/b cover on.
